Paulena’s Bakery

I first spotted Paulena’s Bakery-run by Serena-on Tik Tok. Serena is taking a sabbatical from her day job to put all her efforts into running her bakery full time. This spoke to me as someone who has just gone back to work after a 4 month sabbatical.

A couple of weeks ago I went to Fulham’s Farmers Market where Serena has a stall ( if you want to go check her socials to get up to date information). I haven’t been to Fulham for a long time and it was a bit of a trek with the Piccadilly line being suspended but I will travel far and wide for cakes and bakes.

Serena’s bakes are Asian inspired. This was the menu on the day that I went.

I picked up 3 bakes.

First was the pesto and cheddar swirl which had a chewy texture and lovely herb flavour

I also got a cinnamon bun-one of the best cinnamon buns that I’ve had in a while and it was so pretty to look at.

Finally I got this pandan and cherry blondie. Unusual flavours but they worked so well together.
