Gu Cake Pots

These Gu cake pots have been out for a while, but I finally found them at my local Morrisons. There are 2 flavours, vanilla/victoria sponge and chocolate caramel.

Let’s start with the vanilla sponge. The texture of the cake was strange, almost like a cheesecake- the sponge was very damp-there was a lot of buttercream filling, a bit too much for me.

Next up was the caramel and choc cake pot. This had a better taste than the victoria one but again the sponge was a strange texture.

Not the biggest fan of these items.
