Gooey

Gooey is another restaurant that has been on my list forever. I wanted to try their iconic egg sandwich and French toast. I couldn’t do both on the same day so I made 2 visits.

I went really early in the morning-it opens at 9am so on both occasions, I made sure I got there around opening time.

You view the menu via QR code. You can then order through your phone or at the counter.

On my first visit I went for the egg sandwich. As well as being filled with egg salad it is also topped with a whole boiled egg.

This was one of the best things that I have ever eaten. The bread was pillowy soft and the egg..ah I need it now!

On my second visit I went for the inconic French Toast. It is filled with caramel.

I still think about this French toast, it was beautiful.
